KRSP City Walk Series 2013
Eight Weeks guided fitness walks with qualified leader exploring routes in Kilkenny City.
All levels are very welcome.
- City Walks running from Monday 21st January – 11th March 2013
- Newpark Walks running from Wednesday 23rd January – 13th March 2013
Cost €20 (€1.25 per walk) to be paid in full on first night for 8 weeks (this includes both walks)
- City Walks Meet at Canal Square (opposite X-Vision) Monday 7pm
- Newpark Walks Meet at Newpark Family Resource Centre Car Park Wednesday 7pm
Meet & Train
Learn to run or join to train with a group. This group meets twice weekly on the track.
All levels welcome. Buggies and new mums are particularly welcome!

First Aid Training
Automated External Defibrillation / Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
The Heartsaver AED Course teaches you the basic techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and the relief of choking for adults, children and infants. An AED is a computerised defibrillator which analyses the heart rhythm of a person in cardiac arrest and uses voice prompts to advise you if a shock is needed. The AED is an important link in the chain of survival and this course teaches you how to use them effectively.
This course is approved by the Irish Heart Foundation.

Older Adults Men’s Activities
KRSP is looking for men who are interested in becoming involved in games such as bowling, skittles and tossing. Workshops take place every Tuesday night in the Watershed at 8pm.
This course is approved by the Irish Heart Foundation.
