Public Notice Under European Communities (Control of Major Accidents Involving Dangerous Substances) Regulations 2015
An Garda Síochána, the Health Service Executive and Kilkenny County Council are each required by the above mentioned regulations to prepare plans to deal with effects off-site and to assist, where relevant, with the emergency response on-site in the event of a major accident at:
Grassland Fertilizers (Kilkenny) Ltd., Palmerstown, Tullaroan Road, Kilkenny.
A draft copy of the External Emergency Plan for Trans-Stock Ltd will be available for examination for a period of four (4no.) weeks (Monday 06th November 2017 to Friday 01st December 2017) for viewing between 09:30 and 16:30hrs excluding lunch (13:00-14:00 each day) bank holidays / weekends at the following locations:
1. Kilkenny Garda Station, Dominic St., Kilkenny. (Divisional and District H.Q.) R95 R291
2. HSE - Area Managers Office, Community Health Care Organisation - Area 5, HSE Head Office, Lacken, Dublin Road, Kilkenny R95 NV08
3. Fire Brigade H.Q., Gaol Road, Kilkenny. R95 R660
Submissions and observations with respect to the proposed External Emergency Plan may be made in writing to Frank Dunne, Senior ACFO, Kilkenny Fire Service, Gaol Road, Kilkenny R95 R660 or by emailing frank.dunne@kilkennycoco.ie not later than 17:00hrs on Friday 08th December 2017.
