Digital Mapping / Geographical Information Systems (GIS)

Kilkenny Local Authorities offer a range of Digital Mapping services. These Geographical Information Systems are designed to offer as much "mapped" data eliminating the need for people to visit County Hall to view hard-copy paper maps. Use the menus on the left to view information our three main Digital Mapping applications:

1. Interactive Mapping Application
2. MyXY Planning GIS
3. Census Mapping

All Digital Mapping Applications use Ordnance Survey of Ireland map data. This data is licenced to Kilkenny Local Authorities under the CCMA Agreement, Licence No. "Kilkenny CCMA 2008-2012". The data is protected under copyright and must not be copied from the Internet mapping platform in which it is delivered
