Long Term Leasing

Kilkenny County Council invites expressions of interest for the provision of dwellings under a new long term leasing initiative. Under this initiative, Kilkenny County Council will lease private dwellings. Properties will be tenanted, managed and maintained by the local authority. Leases will be for between 10-20 years and rent will be guaranteed for the whole lease period.

All expressions of interest should be submitted on a standard template available for download at the links below and returned for consideration to Kilkenny County Council, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny. Submissions must include a minimum of 5 properties and must comply with all planning and building regulations. All properties must have a structural guarantee.

Kilkenny County Council will only consider submissions in areas of demand and recognition will be given to commitments under Part V.
Details may also be passed on to Voluntary Bodies who have expressed an interest in acquiring property under this initiative.
