Loughboy Neighbourhood Park measures approximately 2.6hectares (6.5 acres) and is located on the southern outskirts of Kilkenny City off the Bohernatounish Road. The initial phases of the development of the park were undertaken in 2009 including the development of a footpath network, the undergrounding of overhead electrical cables and the planting of 72 semi mature trees. It is hoped to further develop the park in the coming years in partnership with the local community through the provision of additional facilities.
